Before you can take part in an auction, you need to purchase bids or a pack, which are currently priced at 50 to 75 cents each (save more with a subscription!).
Auctions start specified dates and times. Each bid placed by bidders will increase the price of the item by $0.01 (cent). Then, the auction timer will restart whenever a bid is placed.
The timer can start anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds after the initial auction starts. If no new bids are placed before the timer runs out, the last bidder wins.
When you win, you only pay the amount of the winning bid and the previous ones are returned to your account.
